Imposter’s Duet

Lizard of Pause: Girly Epic
Trapeze artist and dancer - Lizard of Pause: Girly Epic. A radical reinterpretation meets the psychological spiralling of our favourite gingham clad girly, Dorothy. It’s circus and heartbreak in a shimmering landscape.
A collaboration between Rock Bottom Movement, a Toronto-based company, and Halifax circus artist and producer, Leah Skerry, this production blurs the boundaries of theatre, dance and circus from a feminist satirical lens. Lizard of Pause is rollercoaster of emotions with a surrealist landing pad of dreams so, fasten your seatbelts, loosen up, and get ready to bask in Dorothy, her freaky little dog and their friends.🦎✨
The Devil’s Intervals
Trapeze artist - The Devil’s Intervals. Inspired by dark nursery rhymes, Devil’s Intervals builds a magical and eery world. Like a haunted house peeled open, the work is brought to life through multiple vignettes danced by thirteen dancers of Nova Scotia’s newest dance company, Zimmerdans (Lydia Zimmer).
Noli Timere
Aerialist and dancer - Noli Timere. A performance installation of off-ground choreography performed within - and created simultaneously with - a voluminous Janet Echelman net sculpture. Led by choreographer Rebecca Lazier (Princeton, NJ), the project brings together the science and engineering of Echelman’s awe-inspiring sculptures with the human story of the creative team’s personal connections to the oceans and environment.
